Bedtime Story Conservatory 40 05/05/2020
Hello everybody,
Que sera sera, such is life, that's how the cookie crumbles, what will be will be, c'est la vie, it's on the cards, but regardless, we are all still matter(ing).
This email is about Black Shuck, an English folktale which speaks of a great black dog, with typically red eyes, which prowls the lands of East Anglia.
In the last few hours I found this newsletter called Lantern, from the Swedish Archives for UFO research, a nonprofit organisation "dedicated to collecting materials about UFOs, ufology, Forteana, cryptozoology, paranormal phenomena and folklore".
Here is a link to the newsletter (you may need an archive.org account? it's free!)-

Today's reading is of a small 1577 poem about the Shuck from the 5th edition of Lantern 1974. The poem is called The Day the Devil Came. It describes how residents of two Norfolkshire towns experienced a violent storm, which killed multiple people. The Black Shuck is blamed for the deaths.
