Bedtime Story Conservatory 33 28/04/2020
Hello all,
I guess a lot of us are feeling pretty rubbish, and a lot of us might be feeling pretty good, a lot of people of course might be feeling rubbish regardless of what is going on, a lot of people of course might be feeling good, or somewhere in between. Each and every and either way, I hope this email reaches you safely and soundly, and that you are enjoying this project still in any capacity. You are not alone. I am still enjoying reading, ESPECIALLY today's because I got to impersonate a barking dog.
And also this is nice- a virtual 3D walk through a Pharaoh's tomb, super cool.
Today's reading is something I got very excited about, Lynley Dodd's Slinky Malinki 1990. It's a short children's story about a mischievous chat. Dodd is a New Zealand children's book author. Slinky Malinki is based on the authors own cat which was with her for 13 years. I used to read this all the time when I was a kid at my Grandma's house. Made me really happy to read this, and I want to share that feeling with you.
The accompanying song, which I felt was more than appropriate, is of course the theme tune from The Pink Panther 1963. It got nominated for an academy award for best original score.
