Hello to all,

Do you enjoy eating pesto pasta? I do a lot and today is the second day I have eaten it, it makes me happy. The snow has settled and gone a little icy, the sun has set.

Today's reading is from one of the very welcome suggestions I have received from you, Raymond Carver's Late Fragment 1989, the last poem in his last anthology, A New Path to the Waterfall: Poems, which was published shortly after his death. It is short, and beautiful.

"Edna Longley commented in the London Review of Books that “all his writing tends toward dramatic monologue, present-tense soliloquy that wears the past like a hairshirt.”- Poetry Foundation
